Tocilog with Crunchy Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino

  • 450g CDO Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino
  • 1 medium-sized egg, beaten
  • 1 to 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • oil, for frying
  • 1/3 cup Danes Cheese block classic, grated
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons butter
  • salted egg, to serve
  • tomatoes, to serve

Tocino is sweetened pork belly with a reddish hue. The original recipe takes a while to prepare; that’s why you can find quick-cook commercial versions like CDO Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino in the market.

You can also level up your usual tocino by coating the pork with panko breadcrumbs for that extra crunch! Better yet, switch up over-easy eggs with cheesy scrambled eggs for that perfect sweet & salty combo!

Hotsilog with Bibbo Hotdog & Danes Cheese Cubes

  • 3 pieces Bibbo Hotdogs
  • 1 medium-sized white egg

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups Danes Cheese block classic, cut into thin slices
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp salt

Red, juicy hotdogs are one of the most common breakfast staples in the Philippines. Why not take it up a notch and put cheese squares on the side? This yummy appetizer uses cheese, spices, and AP flour to make baked crisps.

Combine your wet & dry mixture until you can turn it out from the mixing bowl and flattened it into a thin sheet. Divide the dough into 1-inch squares, pop it in the oven, and voila!
