BAKED MACARONI WITH CDO HAM
Ingredients:
400g elbow macaroni (cooked according to package direction)
4 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup onions, chopped
1 cup red bell pepper, strips
250g CDO Regular Sweet Ham, cut into strips
1 can tomato paste
2 cups broth
3 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1-200g cheese spread (for cheesy topping)
1 cup milk
Procedure:
Heat oil in a saucepan.
Saute garlic, onions and red bell pepper.
Add tomato paste.
Stir in broth.
Let boil for five (5) minutes.
Add CDO Regular Sweet Ham, sugar, salt and pepper.
Cook until slightly thick.
Place macaroni in an oven proof dish.
Pour sauce over noodles and mix thoroughly.
Meanwhile, mix together cheese spread and milk.
Cook over low heat.
Pour cheese sauce over noodles.
Baked in a hot oven for 20 minutes.
Serve hot.
